Grand Tourer Restorations specialise in the restorations of GT Falcon's bewteen 1967 - 1976
Grand Tourer Restoration commenced trading in 1990 with one main objective – which is to provide a quality specialised, service to fellow Falcon GT owners.
The company principal, Neil Thompson, a qualified mechanic, understands the needs of collectors and enthusiasts. He is passionate about Falcon GT’s and has some 15 years experience restoring and maintaining them.
Grand Tourer began with Neil servicing cars and supplying some spare parts. Market demand grew quickly and the company was continually asked to broaden the range of services available to its customers.
Today Grand Tourer Restoration can provide a full restoration service, sorting of cars which have been in long term storage, mechanical rebuilds, panel beating and spray painting. We also offer a selection of genuine spare parts, reproduction spare parts, refurbished used parts, panels and a new service: pre-purchase vehicle inspections.
Whilst Grand Tourer’s factory is in Victoria, the company has restored cars from all over Australia. There are also examples of our work in New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland.
Neil and his small team of friendly professionals are always ready to help callers with their inquiries whether it is sourcing spare parts, information on a GT or to schedule work on your car.
We always welcome visitors, particularly those from interstate, to our secure, modern workshop situated in the northern Melbourne suburb of Campbellfield not far from the Ford Factory in Broadmeadows
